Heath & Co., Ltd., New Eltham, London brass sextant, no. V 971, in wood case with certificate of examination reading in part: "The National Physical Laboratory / Teddington / The shades, mirrors and telescopes are good / the general workmanship is satisfactory / 23rd June 1925." Sextant: 4" H x 10" W x 9" D; case: 5.5" H x 10.75" W x 10.25" D.
