`Heavily Carved Wooden Renaissance Revival Cabinet

German or Italian, early 20th century. Elaborately carved oak cabinet or bookcase decorated with birds, cartouches, shells and scrolled florals, having a central glazed door flanked by solid doors with oversized rosette handles, the interior fitted with shelves, the base fitted with two drawers and rising on robust paw feet. Unmarked. Approx. h. 73.5", w. 96.25", d. 20".
Condition Report: The back panel has been drilled; key is included to assist in opening the drawers but does not operate the locks; wear commensurate with age and use.
