Named one of "10 Exceptional Millenial Artists to Watch in 2016" by Artnet News, Héctor Arce-Espasas was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico and now lives and works in New York. His work appropriates images inherent to the geographical and cultural milieu of the tropics as a means of commentary on the idea of "paradise."
Héctor Arce-Espasas exhibits internationally. In 2017, he was was specially commissioned by PULSE Art Fair Miami for a large scale site specific work, Ode to Paradise (Dancers).
