Oil on canvas painting by Hector Poleo (Venezuelan, 1918–1989), depicting a stylized female figure rendered in a geometric and surrealist composition. The central pale visage is framed by interlocking architectural forms in shades of blue, lavender, gray, pink, and gold, creating a spatially complex modernist composition characteristic of Poleo's later work. Signed lower right. Verso bears handwritten identification reading "Hector Poleo" and appears to include a title and dimensions. Also retains a Caracas restoration label. Housed in a silver-tone molded frame. Signed lower right, "Poleo." Verso inscribed "Hector Poleo." Additional handwritten notations and restoration label from Caracas, Venezuela present on reverse.
