Description
A superb impression, finely drawn in all details. The female figure is based on Albrecht Dürer’s “Nemesis” (Meder 72), the hourglass is a reference to Dürer’s “Melencolia I” (Meder 75). Trimmed on or just inside the platemark. – Verso with traces and remnants of former mounting, the upper corners minimally rubbed on the reverse. Paper somewhat stained on verso, otherwise in good condition. Very rare!
