This print was created after a unique work on paper titled Heavenly Twins, 1959, oil on paper, 28.5 h x 22.25 w inches. The image was also featured on the announcement poster for the exhibition Helen Frankenthaler at Andre Emmerich Gallery, March – April 1960. The original painting was previously owned by author Toni Morrison.

Condition Report: Sheet exhibits areas of toning, with visible foxing near edges. One crease to upper right quadrant measuring approximately eight inches in length. Minor wear to corners and edges, with lower left corner showing more advanced compression. Good condition. Unframed.
