Stated Book Club Edition. The "Beginner Books / I Can Read It All By Myself" with the Cat in the Hat logo was a book club for the early readers founded by Dr. Seuss (Theodor Seuss Geisel) and his wife Helen Palmer Geisel. Points of the first or early 1960s printing: copyright 1963 without any other printings listed, no isbn, no barcode. [See photos].

Illustrated hard boards [some wear]; 6.3/4" x 9.1/4"; illustrated endpapers, 64 pages, fully illustrated, some wear and soiling, very good condition.

Unlike most of the Beginner Books, "Do You Know What I'm Going To Do Next Saturday?" did not follow the format of text with inline drawings, being illustrated with black-and-white photographs by Lynn Fayman, featuring a boy named Rawli Davis. It is sometimes misattributed to Dr. Seuss himself. The book's cover features a photograph of a young boy sitting at a breakfast table with a huge pile of pancakes.
