Hen Broadbill attributed to George Roberts. The body is natural cork pegged together with keel and no bottom board. The keel carries the (SPERRY) brand. A piece of iron chain is used for ballast. The head has glass eyes and some light touches of overpaint. Provenance: Acquired by descent from Dr. George R. Brush, of the settling Brush family of Southold, Long Island, New York.
