Hen Broadbill sleeper South Shore of Long Island. A rig mate to the other broadbill sleeper showing more in use wear around head. The bottom was left unpainted and two leather line ties where used one forward and the other is screwed to the side. The head position is to the left and the other is to the right. The head shows line abrasion from the anchor line along with some light shot spray. Provenance: Acquired by descent from Dr. George R. Brush, of the settling Brush family of Southold, Long Island, New York.
