Henbury Meteorite Sliced Pair Iron, IIIAB Northern Territory, Australia - (24° 34'S, 133° 10'E) Found: 1931 This 'two-for-one' offering consists of a pair of fantastic matched, irregular "kidney" shaped fully etched slices of Henbury Meteorite. With one of the most attractive Widmanstätten patterns, the dynamic duo offers four sizable surfaces replete with intricate Thomson structures in a beautiful cross-stitch network. An additional significant bonus of these two special meteorite slices is the presence of several inclusions of rare Troilite appearing as generally circular forms of dark brown in various sizes adding good contrast. The total weight of the pairing is 1.5 kilograms (3.3 pounds), and the artistically shaped slices have solid form even though the pieces are not particularly thick.
