In flottem Pinselduktus die sommerlich bekleidete junge Dame, in einem Bistrostuhl sitzend, den Blick sinnierend am Betrachter vorbei gleiten lassend. In seiner Motivauswahl und Farbpalette ließ er sich im Sinne des Postimpressionismus unter anderem von Renoir leiten.
