Condition Report:
The terracotta bust is in good condition overall, with minor surface dirt in the crevices. Wear and scratches to the surface consistent with age and handling, in particular to the high points (such as the tip of her nose or the curls of her hair). Several minor firing cracks to the terracotta, consistent with the technique (in particular to her cheeks and to her lower neck and breast). Her proper right nipple has been restored. Some remains of a darker patina to the TC in several places. Several minor losses to the terracotta, in particular to the curls of her hair, her proper right ear and the edges of the drapery. The lower edge of the drapery appears to have been restored to her proper right (circa 10 cm). The wood base with minor wear, and several open slips, as well as minor remains of wood worming.
