The authenticity of this work has been confirmed by the late Cyrille Martin.

Condition Report:
The canvas is unlined and the edges are taped. Very minor hairline craquelure in the thickest areas of impasto in the lower register and in the sky. One nailhead-sized loss to the pigment in the sky. A couple instances of paint lifting along the upper edge in the sky. Under UV light: no evidence of inpainting or previous restoration. The work is in overall very good condition.
