20 ¾ by 15 ⅞ in.
52.7 by 40.3 cm.
Executed in August 1945.

The authenticity of this work has been confirmed by Georges Matisse.

Condition Report:
Executed on cream wove paper and hinged to the mount in two places along the upper edge of the verso. Artist pinholes in the upper corners. The sheet is lightly toned, and there are a few scattered pindots of foxing throughout. Very minor mat burn along the right edge, not visible when framed. The sheet undulates slightly in the lower left corner. A few handling creases in the margins. Brown tape from a previous mounting along the extreme perimeter of the verso. The work is in overall very good condition.
