Executed in 1928.

The authenticity of this work has been confirmed by Georges Matisse.

Condition Report:
This work is in very good condition. Executed on cream wove paper and hinged to the mount in three places along the upper edge of the verso. The edges are deckled. One artist's pinhole at the center of the upper edge. A few pindots of foxing scattered throughout the composition, most notably along the right edge and on the figure's proper right shoulder. One 1-cm tear along the lower right edge of the sheet. One faint red pencil mark in the lower right quadrant.
