Condition Report:
Canvas is not lined. Very slight undulation to the upper register of the canvas. Frame rubbing along all four edges. Three pinpoint losses: a first towards the center of the left edge, a second towards the center of the top edge in one of the thicker impastos, and a third to the lower right corner. Examination under UV light reveals scattered instances of inpainting in the lower bound of the composition, one of them associated with a scratch line visible under raking light (approx. 20 cm.) and towards the center of the left edge, commensurate with the aforementioned loss. A further area of retouching is visible in the foliage of the trees in the upper right quadrant. Some final instances of inpainting in areas of frame rubbing along the edges. The pigment is strong and fresh throughout. The work is in overall good condition.
