HENROTTE, Olivier Four biblical scenes. Ca. 1810 4 drawings, grey and black wash over black chalk, traces of red chalk, ca. 28 x 44 cm, wove paper, 1 drawing signed at lower left "Olivier Henrotte" (all laid down on paper mount, white spots throughout, some sm. stains and creases). The scenes include The Capturing of Christ, and Judas Macabeus. The iconography of the other two drawings has not been identified. Henrotte (ca. 1780-1860) was an artist from Liège. Not much is known of his career.
