Hepplewhite Style Burl Wood and Mahogany Sideboard, 20th Century
Crafted in the Hepplewhite taste, this 20th-century buffet server features a rectangular top over a mahogany case embellished with figured burl wood veneers. The front is configured with two stacked center drawers flanked by two lateral cupboard doors that open to single-shelf interior compartments. The upper drawer includes built-in flatware dividers, and both drawer fronts are fitted with circular brass ring pulls. Fluted pilasters flank the front sections and transition downward into six slender, reeded, and turned tapering legs.
