[ translate ]

Luxurious rare vase with lid/ urn, Black Queen Victoria pattern, made by Herend, Hungary. What is perhaps Herend’s most famous pattern is made up of almost a hundred kinds of stylized butterflies and springs of blossom, painted in cheerful and lively colours. The combination of red, blue, purple, yellow and green butterflies, flowers and sprigs makes a cavalcade for the green of a meadow. The décor Victoria was unveiled at the Great Exhibition in London 1851, where it scored a huge success. The recognition meant not only a gold medal form the jury, but a commission from the person who gave her name to the pattern. Queen Victoria ordered a table service in the pattern for the Windsor Castle. Even more precious, the black background of the pattern was produced in limited pieces, hard to collect. According to Herend literature, "this Chinese-influenced pattern demands the skills of Herend's most talented and experienced painters. " The porcelain piece is in pristine condition, Like New Never Used, Herend stamp marked and numbered, NO chips, NO cracks and NO repairs, please see pictures as they are part of description. Hungary, 1948-1970 Dimensions: Height with lid: 25 cm Diameter: 13 cm It will be very carefully and safely packed! With love and respect for the porcelain - “ The White Gold”
