Marvelous Serving Platter produced by Herend - “Chinese Bouquet “ Collection, Apponyi Green, complex model, with one main peony bouquet, 4 smaller bouquets around as well as 6 other different flowers on the entourage, all magnificent hand painted, in excellent condition. Simpler models, with just one bouquet are made in present days. The origin of the pattern is associated with Count Albert Apponyi, for whom this simplified version of “ Fleurs des Indes” was first prepared in 1931. This serving platter is in excellent condition, marked with blue Herend shield mark and numbered, very tiny chip on border rim repaired only, otherwise NO chips, NO cracks and NO repairs, please see the pictures as they are part of the description !
