Herend fine porcelain Fancy Dish w. Heart Handle - Herend Chinese bouquet light raspberry / Apponyi light purple - AP2 design.
With a rare four compartments and a design that will be a decoration of the table.
This Fancy Dish is the ideal choice for all Apponyi purple tea, coffee, espresso and dinner sets. Fantastic for serving appetizers and entertaining (dazzling) guests!

On the occasion of the 1867 World Exhibition in Paris, at a reception organized in honor of József Ferenc, the tables of the Elysée Palace were set with Apponyi-patterned Herendi sets. The sample made at the request of Count Albert Apponyi was created by enlarging a detail of the Indian flower basket (fleurs des indes) . The clean and restrained pattern created in this way is painted in purple (AP) , green (AV) , orange (AOG) and blue (AB) by the Herend masters.
The Apponyi decoration from Herend is also known worldwide as the Chinese bouquet.
