Herman Perlman (Polish, American 1904-1995). A hand sculpted, etched and sandblasted Mid Century Modern lamp with a central hand made glass aquarium decorated in a colorful palette, with etched seaweed flora. Artist signed H PERLMAN, Polish born former illustrator for The Washington Post and popular sculptor whose work was commissioned by the Truman White House. Age related wear to glass. Lamp may require electrical service. Mounted in a fitted wooden base stand. Measures 19 1/4 in. x 5 1/2 in. (glass), 4 in. x 13 in. (stand). Hill Auction Gallery will not ship.
