Hermann Gladenbeck Torchieres Over Six Feet Tall

Hermann Gladenbeck (1827 - 1918) Pair of cast metal Torchières standing over 6 feet tall. The sculptures alone measure 63.5 in. x 18.5 in. x 7.5 in. and 63.5 x 15.5 in. x 8.5 in., stand on custom made wood bases to stand over 74 inches tall in total. They are signed Aktien-Gessellschaft Glandenbeck foundry in Berlin, Hermann Gladenbeck. They are in working order, one or two of the glass shades may be a replacement. Also, one of the glass shades has damage. Beautiful, old patina and in excellent condition overall. Formerly from a Bay Area estate, these were purchased at Butterfield and Butterfield Second Session-Tuesday, October 7, 1975. They are pictured in the auction catalog and the catalog will accompany these torchieres. If lot is absent of a condition report a condition report may be requested via email.
