Casein on light cardboard (postcard). 14,7 × 10,5 cm (5 ¾ × 4 ⅛ in.). On the reverse, with a greeting by the artist addressed to his future partner Traude (Gertraude) Stürmer. There, also a postmark dated 7 January 1973 and a stamp of Volkshochschule Dresden-Stadt of 1973.

Provenance: Gertraude Stürmer, Berlin (gift of the artist, thence by descent to the present owner)
Condition report: Very fine, harmonious overall appearance. The colours fresh and luminous. The sheet edges without losses. In the centre of the left sheet edge, one minuscule tear (0,5 cm) and at the upper edge right of the centre, multiple minuscule tears (up to 0,2 cm). The corners slightly bumped. On the reverse, in the centre, one small circular discolouration due to adhesive from former mounting onto the glass.

Kasein auf leichtem Karton (Postkarte). 14,7 × 10,5 cm (5 ¾ × 4 ⅛ in.). Rückseitig mit einem Grußtext vom Künstler adressiert an seine spätere Lebensgefährtin Traude (Gertraude) Stürmer, sowie mit einem Poststempel vom 7. Januar 1973 und einem Stempel der Volkshochschule Dresden-Stadt von 1973.

Zustandsbericht: Sehr schöner harmonischer Gesamteindruck. Die Farben frisch und leuchtend. Die Blattkanten ohne Fehlstellen. An der linken Blattkante mittig ein winziger Einriss (0,5 cm) sowie an der Oberkante rechts der Mitte mehrere winzige Einrissen (bis 0,2 cm). Die Ecken minimal bestoßen. Rückseitig mittig eine kreisrunde Verfärbung des Papiers durch den Kleber von der ehemaligen Montierung der Karte an einer Glasscheibe.
