Hermann Kohlmann (1907-1982), German painter, sculptor and graphic artist, was a student at the Dresden Academy with Richard Müller and Max Feldbauer, received the Hugo Göpfert Prize in 1934, which was connected with a subsequent stay in Italy, and in 1937 he became known to a wide public thanks to an exhibition in the Dresden art salon Emil Richter.
