hallmarked London, 1982, by P. H. Vogel & Co., retailed by Hermes, Paris, of rectangular form, the curved body decorated with guilloche panels, and fitted with a twist-locking hinged cap.
h. 5", w. 3-3/4"; 6.87 t. oz.
Condition Report: **One 3/16" dent on the upper front edge of one side, with a smaller scratch nearby, but otherwise in good condition. Not tested for water fastness. Hallmarked (on the underside) with: 1) the sterling lion passant; 2) the London leopard's head; 3) the date letter "H" for 1982; and 4) the "PHV & Co. maker's mark of P. H. Vogel; the cap part-marked. Additionally marked (on the cap) with the French "ant" import mark and the retailer's mark of Hermes (EH with a stirrup) and (on the underside) "Hermes - Paris".
