A Hermès scarf "Instructions of the King" by Henri D'Origny on a damask silk in green and bronze colour run. History: The instruction of the king in exercise to ride a horse, thus was baptized the work of Antoine de Pluvinel, squire of Louis XIII, king of France and Navarre. He understood, already in the XVIIth century, that in order to train a horse "kindness prevails over severity". He created an academy in Paris and wrote this book, illustrated with superb drawings by Crispin de Pas, in the form of an interview with the young king. The few plates which end this work describe in particular the bits which it recommends the use. First edition year 1993. Composition: 100% silk. Size 88 x 89 cm. Hand rolled hem. No woven label. Condition: very good. The hem is full. Defaults: 1 long pulled thread - please look the last photo. Please note: no shipping to Romania.
