The period from 1997 to 2003 is also known as "MARGILEA HERMES OF THE YEAR" (commonly known as the Margiela period) , and is still immensely popular today.
In 1997, shortly after Martin Margiela took office, HERMES created the "CLOCHETTE" leather necklace, inspired by the "cadenas" (padlock) strap holder that comes with the signature "Kelly bag".
This is a rare collection piece that combines a crochet and the Kelly Watch.
The crotchet and strap show signs of age. The watch is in very good condition with no noticeable scratches.
