Hettier & Vincent - 1930 Art Deco chandelier Hängelampe - Verreries des Hanots

HETTIER & VINCENT A beautiful 1930 French art deco hanging fixture by Hettier & Vincent in nickel plated bronze or solid brass holding a shade made by Verreries des Hanots . Des Hanots was like Verlys one of the brands of the large Holophane glass company. It's done in clear glass pressed in a mould, made opaque by acid and highlighted by glossy transparent polished parts. This model is never signed yet it's represented in the old Verreries des Hanots catalogs. Hettier & Vincent was a large well known French lighting company producing high quality items. Wholesale and retailer with its shop at the prestigeous Place de Vosges in Paris. The pendant is represented in the 1st supplement of the Hettier Vincent catalog on page 128. The catalog is of coarse no part of this sale. The chandelier is in excellent condition. It still has its original 90 years old nickel plating. I cleaned it and it's still in excellent condition. The bowl has a diameter of 36 cm. The pendant has a total height of 43 cm. It is rewired holding three E14 sockets. For the States or Japan I will place American candelabra bas ones.
