HETTLER, Carl Bust of a noble lady. Ca. 1830 Wax portrait relief, ca. 11 x 5 cm, signed at bottom "Hettler". In nice contemp. wooden frame. Carl Hettler (active 1818-1844) was a specialist in wax silhouette portraits, favoured by the German aristocracy. He made these busts for Friedrich Wilhelm IV, king of Prussia and Hegel.
