Heuer first introduced the Carrera model in 1969. Together with the Seiko 6139 and Zenith El Primero, Heuer Calibre 11 is one of the first chronograph movements with automatic winding. The present model is a relatively early edition in a classic 1970s design. The original watchband is signed GF for Gay Freres.
