Original fine and very rare water-resistant, stainless steel 36mm HEUER “Pre-Carrera”, Ref. 2444 T (w. red Tachymeter scale) chronograph wristwatch, SN: 965789, made circa 1955. Comes on a black perforated new Heuer leather strap with modern stainless steel Heuer buckle. Case: Two-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back, inclined bezel, lapidated lugs. Dial: Silver with arabic numerals, subsidiary dials for constant seconds, 30-minute and the 12 hour registers. Luminous dauphine hands. Movement: Cal. 72, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock-absorber, self compensating flat balance spring. Dial, case and movement are signed. Diam. 36mm. Age related condition with traces of wear. Watch is in overall good condition 7/10, running and ready to wear or gift! Condition: In fully working order. Good vintage condition 7/10, surface scratches, scuffs and discoloration through the age. Patina on the dial.
