HEXAGONAL BAROQUE TABLE CLOCK MADE OF GILT BRONZE WITH RESIDUES OF SILVER PLATING AND GLASS.

Sprottau (Szprotawa).
Date: 18th century.
Maker/Designer: Carl Siegesmund Heyn.
Technique: Gilt bronze with residues of silver-plating. Glass.
Description: Hexagonal body on ball feet with glassed side panels. Chapter ring with Roman hours and
Arabic minutes. Engraved vines. Day clock movement with verge escapement, chain and fusee,
striking work and hour chime on bell below, repetition. Repetition trigger on the II.
Measurement: 8x9x9cm.
Mark: Signed on the plate CARL SIEGESMUND HEYN SPROTTAU.
