Impressionist depiction of a river bank surrounded by trees on a cloudy day in Bristol, Rhode Island. Dyer studied in both France and Holland and was an active member of the Providence Art Club, Providence Watercolor Club, Boston Society of Watercolor Painters, American Federation of Arts, and the Newport Art Association.
