This Hibachi is in a rare, deep red lacquer on Hinoki wood, originating from Gion, the geisha district of Kyoto, around 1900. In the iron inner coat, coals were stoked to keep the water in the water kettle at the temperature for the tea ceremony, including the rectangular, lacquered serving tray to serve the tea. The Hibachi contains a drawer. The iron water kettle is in beautiful colour harmony with the Hibachi. The size of the lacquered serving tray is: 36-20. 5 cm. Iron stand for the tetsubin: Height: 14 cm. Diameter: 19 cm. Iron water kettle: Height: 25 cm. Diameter: 18 cm. Dimensions of the Hibachi: Length: 68 cm. Width: 40 cm. Height: 28 cm.
