HIBIKI 17 years is a fantastic blended, blended from the best malt and grain whiskeys from the three Suntory distilleries (Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita) . Voted best whiskey in the 2010 World Whiskey Awards category.

This spirit is an assembly of the whiskeys produced in the group's three distilleries: Yamazaki and Hakusu for malt whiskeys and Chita for grain whiskies. This creation by Keizo Saji became famous in particular after the 2003 film “Lost in Translation” by Sofia Coppola, where the character played by Bill Murray filmed an advertisement for Hibiki 17 years old.

Production of the 17 year version was stopped in 2018 because reserves were no longer sufficient to meet demand.
