The print bears the collection mark of Duke D'Arenberg (oval collection stamp = L.567, ) In the second state there was a cartouche at the bottom with text and signature of the publisher/engraver. Here an impression with omission of text line and addition of a paper strip Hieronymus Wierix fecit glued on top of the bottom right corner, so the state is not to determine. Probably a second state as the first state is from the uppermost rarity. This A larger important print in the oeuvre of Wierix.
