Highly decorative five-piece porcelain vase garniture

HIGHLY DECORATIVE FIVE-PIECE PORCELAIN VASE GARNITURE.

Presumably France.
Technique: Porcelain with blue underglaze decor, decorated with colours and gold.
Description: Three baluster-shaped lid vases and two rod vases. The vases are decorated with branches
of blooming peonies and magnolias growing on decorative rocks. In between songbirds, below
chrysanthemums, lingzhi mushrooms, pomegranates and bamboo. On the shoulder and the highly
vaulted lid a bordure of large Ruyi, lotus and Ching sound-stones. As the crowning of the
lids, lions with balls on jagged stones, each gilt with lacquer.
Measurement: Height lidded vases 60cm, rod vases 41cm.
Mark: Without recognisable marks.
Condition B. Condition A/B-C. One rod vase with restored crack, one lidded vase with crack and chip.
