Condition: Edge wear to covers and spine, particularly at corners; leather near lower corner of back cover has quite worn away. Covers are slightly bowed. Foxing throughout; tissue sheets over engravings have darkened with foxing and left marks over the engraved pages.

Provenance: From the family collection of William J. Latta, noted collector of Napoleon memorabilia and/or his son-in-law Harry Franck, a well known travel writer, by descent.
