Rare 1919 Hobart Coventry with 296cc J. A. P. engine with side valves. Sturmey Archer gearbox with clutch and 2 gears. It’s an older restoration, the bike is in good, driveable condition. The primary chain and the magnet’s chain are in excellent condition. The magnet was rewound a few years ago. The oil pump was recently overhauled. The tyres are in good condition and the drive belt is in reasonable condition. Two spare brake pads for the front wheel are included. The brake pad for the rear wheel brake will need replacing at some point. License plate ZM-51-04 and frame number 396. It is allowed to drive on public roads. Hobart is a historic motorcycle brand founded by William Hobart Bird in 1892. The first motorcycle was released in 1901. Production lasted until 1924.
