Hooker, 12mo, bound in original beige muslin boards, rebacked, paper label on spine with all text worn away, some foxing to contents, one section of map detached, broken away along outermost vertical fold, the piece in question present; 7 x 4 1/4 in.

Holley's text in this edition includes the first book printing of the Texas Declaration of Independence, the Republic of Texas Constitution, Travis' letter from the Alamo, Austin's Louisville Address of 1836, and other key documents of the revolution.
