Holyland Pottery Handled Jug w/ Black & White Stripes
Ancient Near East, Holyland, Iron Age, ca. 900 to 700 BCE. A fine pottery jug presenting a spherical body, a conical neck, a pinched spout, and a ribbon-form handle attaching shoulder to spout, all sitting upon a discoid foot. Boasting black and white pigments, the exterior has been adorned in a series of horizontal bands with 2 wavy white rings embellishing the shoulder. Size: 5.4" Diameter x 7" H (13.7 cm x 17.8 cm)
