MAKER: Hallmarked L inside a sun. Lewis Lomay (Lomayesva) (c. 1915-1996; Hopi). This hallmark was known to be used in the 1970s. Active 1930s to 1996. Student of Ambrose Roanhorse. He worked many years as a silversmith at Frank Patania's Thunderbird Shop in Sante Fe. He also worked at the Rainbow Man in Santa Fe, NM circa 1960-1970s. He opened his own shop in Santa Fe named Hopi Indian Silver. Lomay is a multiple award winner.
APPROX AGE: Vintage (meaning somewhere between the 1930s to 1970s).
SIZE: This bracelet measures approximately 5 5/8 inches from end to end on the silver, and has a 1 3/8 inch gap (fits a 7 inch wrist). It measures 1 1/4 inches wide at the widest part, and the total weight is 74.1 grams.
CONDITION: Good for its age, normal wear expected. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition.
