Wooden hornbill bird figure from the Sepik River Region of New Guinea. This birdhead sculpture has carved eyes and a figural body out of lightwood. Good condition with traces of aging and a beautifull aged patina with traces of wear and tear.

Provenance: ex Dutch private collection.
