Beautiful high-title silver (925/1000) hot water spout, English, reigning sovereign George second year 1752, Maker Aimé Videau active from 1746 to 1756, in good condition considering the age (271 years of history) , it has three small dents on the lower part (but they certainly don't affect its value,) Aimé Videau was a French Huguenot silversmith (like the great Paul De Lamerie) who fled France due to the persecutions of the Huguenots by the French sovereigns of the time.
It still has its original armorial in the center, the silver handle is covered with woven river straw (which is very rare considering the age) .
Dimensions and weights: height cm. 25 width max. cm. 15 weight gr. 470 (although the weight of the silver on this very old item is not very important)
