ESTC T72874. This is believed to be the second book in English entirely about cocking, the first being William Machrie, An Essay upon the Royal Recreation and Art of Cocking, 1705. There are five poems in praise of the sport at the end, including one by Sir Richard Blackmore.

A rare work, the last copy traced at auction being the James Brodie copy sold by Christie’s, New York, 12 February 1982, lot 95.
