What do you want to impart to your students?
How to engage with painting through various approaches. Within every system,
I believe, there are detours and anomalies that become increasingly frequent until they ultimately bring about a change. It’s about choosing which possibility
to pursue from among millions of potential coincidences; bringing out the
surprising, the elusive, and the not immediately graspable, and then giving
the work a specific direction and focus.
