Abbe Huc's detailed account, first published by Le Clere of Paris in 1850, is an important primary source on the areas covered and one of the great classics of Asian travel and adventure. Former owner bookplate on pastedown of volume 2.
Condition Report: Light wear to cloth, spines slightly leaning, bumping and fraying to some corners; occasional foxing and toning throughout, maps toned with some foxing and light creasing; very good.
