(1st 1808, with only 45 pl.) of this rare, illustrated description of the mammals in the "Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle" in Paris. The first unnumbered engr. is a fine and artistically arranged comparative overview of the principal mammalian groups. It is not clear which Huet is meant by "Huet" on the title; it could be either Nicolas le jeune or his father, Jean-Baptiste le vieux.
