Title:Huge Early 20th c. Eagle Plaque
Provenance/Additional Info: Some of which were 47 inches wide and the wood used in them was very lightweight. Here we have this gorgeous carving from the early part of the 20th c. which measures 70 inches wide, 34 inches tall and 8 inches deep, an incredible work of art. It weighs 34 pounds and is all original with no damage or evident repairs. This eagle was in the personal collection of Mr. and Mrs. King of Parkville, MO, long time antiques dealers who have retired to Texas. The back shows that it had hangers at one time and also the wings were drilled for mounting as shown in the pictures where the washers remain. There are some minor paint chips in the flag's surface. Custom packing is included. Inv. 4009
